Install and debug on the punchMetal Stamping PartsMold is a basic skill that every mold worker should have, but many new stamping workers and tooling workers are often not able to grasp skillfully, today to share how to install metal stamping mold on the punch and debugging.

1. First check whether the punch is working properly and the mold is intact. Stop the punch on the dead spot, adjust the retaining head screws on both sides of the slider to a high position, and wipe the punch with the contact surface of the mold netting.

2. Install the die for the mold without guide device, first take the upper die to the workbench, pad a thick plank or slightly soft and flat thick material under the upper die, push the two together under the slider. For molds with guided equipment, the guide can be pushed below the slider along with the selected horn in accordance with the condition of the upper and lower die.

A hand-plate flywheel or an inch moving button (for large and medium-sized punch) to make the slider down, while moving the upper die, so that the handle is aligned to the slider's die handle hole. For the upper die of the die-free handle, the upper die is placed in the lower part of the center of the slider and the bolts in the T-groove of the slider are aligned to the opening groove or fixing hole of the template. Then make the slider slow down, until the slider under the plane stuck on the mold on the plane, tighten the bolts will be fixed on the mold.

3. Install the die on the non-guide device of the die, first remove the pad under the mold, and then the lower mold together with the selected horn into the lower mold. So that the slider down, the horizontal movement of the lower mode azimuth, so that the upper and lower die working parts of the coordination gap is roughly uniform, slightly fixed the lower mold, and then with copper skin, hard paper plug into the fine tone, if the straight edge can also be used plug, but also the last punching stamping parts to the mold, clearance after the adjustment, can be

4. Adjust the closed height of the punch according to the die required convex mold into the depth of the die, adjust the closed too high degree, suitable after screwing the locking mechanism. Then the air rush and the test rush. For adjustable stroke punch, the stroke should be adjusted first, and then the closing height should be adjusted.

5. Adjust the punching and topping device, adjust the slider to the end of the dead spot position, the retaining head screw downward adjustment so that its lower end contact punching cross-load. Try rushing once to see if you can lay the material. If you can not hit the material, continue to the retaining head screws to reduce, to test the tune, do not cut too much, too much will damage the mold.

The main points of debugging of various molds are:

1. The gap of the punching die should be debugged evenly, the depth of the convex die into the die should be appropriate, generally 0.2-0.5 mm.

2. The crimping force of the drawing die should be debugged evenly and appropriately.

3. The main point of debugging the bending die is to adjust the depth of the convex die into the die, to ensure that the workpiece can be compacted without a hard top withdrawal or a "stand up" or "bite to death" phenomenon in the next dead point.
